Lysol the cure to Covid-19?

We recently witnessed a presidential press conference like no other. Recently, President Donald Trump held a press conference with news outlets talking about and taking question regarding the current state of the United States while it deals with the Covid-19 virus. During the press conference we saw the President of the United States claim that it is possible and is currently being looked into by his medical staff of the possibility of using cleaning products such as lysol and bleach as a possible cure for the Covid-19 virus. He claimed that injecting and or drinking the cleaning products may kill the virus from within the body, he backed this statement up by saying that if the products can kill the virus on regular everyday services then it should be able to kill it within the body. Unfortunately, after these comments were made a spike in position control calls regarding the injection of cleaning products were being made much more frequently, according to #4 News New York “ In the 18 hours after the president’s suggestion during a Thursday night news conference, the city center got 30 exposure calls—nine specifically about Lysol, 10 about bleach and 11 about other household cleaners” certain Americans found the words to their president truthful as they themselves started to inject/drink the disinfectant spray in the hopes of killing the virus. The President quickly responded after reports such as these started pouring in of Americans attempting to self-medicate using these products, he stated that he was only being “sarcastic” when is made these statements and now advises to avoid using these products for self-care. This type of blowback had put the already fragile presidency into a deeper hole due to the fact that the media is now saying that we should not believe what the president says about the coronavirus epidemic and we should only look for the truth coming out of the mouths of medical professionals.
